THE BROADGAUGE
In 1872, the Broadgauge was built as central Illinois' original "mega store", containing under one roof; Hardware, Grocery, and Dry Goods stores.

Today, we have restored the Broadgauge to its original architectural glory and redeveloped it into a Restaurant, Bar, Coffee Shop, and Event Center.
ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN
The building, built in 1872 and remodeled in 1915, speaks for itself. It is filled with intricate wood work like the mezzanine running the length of the building and the newly re-exposed double staircase leading up to a grand ballroom with 15 foot high tin ceilings.

These architectural assets are highlighted with sophisticated but comfortable design features.
COMMUNITY
Broadgauge is located at the heart of Petersburg's town square. We are creating unique spaces for the community to come together. There will be a beautiful restaurant and bar for people to dine, drink, and commune. There will also be a coffee shop for those early mornings and late nights.
In addition to these public spaces, there will be numerous unique spaces available for use, like the Ballroom, Backroom Bar, Boardroom, and a few other lounges. These rooms will be used for all kinds of events including; Wedding receptions, private dinners, anniversary parties, concerts, corporate retreats, and many other uses.
